Hi Brookside students and families, My name is Denise and I am one of the teachers part of SoundGarage.

You can use this website to practice your instrument.
Look over to the tools panel on the left and select your instrument to start playing!
If practicing online isn't your style, another way to practice without a drum kit at home is to practice on the back of a chair or on a table or a bucket like in this fun video!

Practice your new drum fill with the basic rockbeat - look at the basic form of a song ABA
Week 5 Funwork:
Create a new drum fill
Make sure to remember your previous drum fills, we will use them later in the term while practicing improvisation!
Week 4 Funwork:
Practice your drum fill with a basic rock beat
(It is usually in the last two beats of a 4 beat bar)
Week 3 Funwork:

Watch this video on single and double stroke rolls and practice to warm up (you only need to watch about 40 seconds of the video)
