Weekly Exercises / Funwork:

Week 6 Funwork:

Melody Sight Reading - Try play this melody on the piano focusing on both pitch and rhythm
Terms to consider:
- p = piano (to play softly)
- mf = mezzo forte (to play moderately loud)
- f = forte (to play loud)
- < = crescendo (gradually increase volume)
- > = decrescendo (gradually decrease volume)
- rit. = ritardanto (gradually decrease speed)
Notes:
- Section / Line A has a Bb in the key signature
- Section / Line B has a F# in the key signature

Week 5 Funwork:

Rhythm sight reading - Clap the rhythm
Simple time signatures
- How many beats per bar?
- What type of beat?

Week 4 Funwork:

C Major Scale
1 octave:

2 Octaves:
